Who I Am

I’m Evan, a student at Naropa University pursuing a degree in Wilderness Therapy. My passion lies in helping people find deeper connection, both to themselves and to the natural world. I do this through a blend of presence, curiosity, and compassion.

What I Do

I take a humanistic and holistic approach to therapy, weaving together mindfulness, nature-based therapy, existential exploration, and somatic attunement. I believe healing happens when we engage the mind, body, and spirit in harmony, and I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Whenever possible, I bring sessions outdoors so nature can be an active partner in the process, offering its own wisdom and grounding energy.

Where I’ve Been

My academic journey at Naropa has deepened my understanding of both the science and the spirit of healing. Along the way, I’ve studied the interconnectedness of humans and nature, the transformative power of mindful awareness, and the role of existential inquiry in fostering resilience and meaning.

My Experiences

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Each person’s story is unique, and I approach every client with empathy and respect, encouraging them to see challenges not just as obstacles, but as opportunities for growth. Whether sitting together in the therapy room or walking a trail under open skies, I strive to hold a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for self-discovery and renewal.
