Meet Brian
I’m Brian, a veteran and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. My path into counseling has been shaped through military service, corporate leadership, mindfulness practice, and personal experiences navigating transition, identity, and emotional growth. These experiences continue to influence the way I show up with clients today.
At Front Range Family Resource Center, I provide a grounded, relational, and authentic approach to therapy. I understand that many people spend years carrying the pressure to hold everything together on their own while feeling disconnected from their emotions, relationships, body, or sense of purpose. Therapy can become a space where clients slow down, feel genuinely heard, and reconnect with themselves without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Therapy Rooted in Human Connection
I feel especially drawn toward working with individuals navigating identity concerns, emotional expression, relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, grief, shame, anger, and isolation. Many people silently carry the pressure to perform, stay in control, or appear “fine” while struggling internally with uncertainty and emotional overwhelm. These experiences often remain unspoken for years.
As a veteran and counseling intern in Wheat Ridge, CO, I also feel passionate about supporting men and veterans who may have learned to suppress emotion, avoid vulnerability, or believe they must handle everything alone. Many men are taught to push through pain rather than pause and explore what is happening internally. Therapy can offer a different kind of space—one grounded in honesty, emotional awareness, self-reflection, and authentic human connection.
