Empowering men, strenghtning relationships, and supporting veterans.

Who’s This Guy?

Welcome to my practice, where change begins through meaningful dialogue and authentic connection. I’m Jeremy R. Allen, a psychotherapist, veteran, and father. I know firsthand what it means to carry silent battles—whether from military service, early family wounds, or the grief of losing someone you love. These experiences shape not only who I am but how I show up with the men and veterans I work with.

My Approach

I draw from Gestalt therapy, which at its heart is about paying attention to what’s happening in the here-and-now. It means noticing the patterns in your life, the tension in your body, and the stories you tell yourself, and then using that awareness to create real change.

For men, this often looks like exploring fatherhood, abandonment wounds, and the quiet struggles of trying to be strong for everyone else while losing touch with yourself.

For veterans, it’s about untangling the impact of service, navigating reintegration, and finding solid ground in relationships that matter most.

This isn’t therapy about fixing you—it’s about reclaiming the parts of you that have been buried, silenced, or shut down.

Men’s Work

Men often carry unspoken pain: the pressure to be “strong,” the fear of being unwanted, the sense of being cut off from their own needs. My work honors these struggles. Together, we create space to face early wounds and begin building new ways of relating, with yourself, your family, and your world.

Supporting Veterans

Military service shapes identity, family, and relationships in powerful ways. As a veteran myself, I understand the unique challenges of post-traumatic stress, reintegration, and the hidden toll of service. In our work, you’ll find a place to process those experiences, rebuild resilience, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Why Choose Me

I bring the perspective of a veteran who has walked the road of service and reintegration, combined with the grounding of Gestalt principles that emphasize awareness, authentic dialogue, and connection as the true path to change. Above all, I show up as human first—a man and father who knows the weight of struggle, the reality of loss, and the possibility of healing.

A Personal Note
I carry with me the memory of my son, Daniel, whose life and loss deepened my understanding of grief, love, and what it means to keep showing up. His story is part of why I believe so deeply in helping men and veterans reconnect with themselves and those they love.
