Meet Lincoln
Lincoln Taggart, LPCC
Counselor | Somatic Psychology | Mindful and Compassionate
Who I Am
I’m Lincoln Taggart, MA, a therapist offering somatic therapy for men in Denver. I hold a degree in Somatic Counseling from Naropa University and bring a grounded, relational approach to healing. I grew up between New York and North Carolina, spending much of my youth on an organic farm. Early on, I saw how living systems flourish when they’re supported in balance. This perspective now guides the way I support people in their healing.
My passion for psychology began in high school as I navigated my own personal challenges. That curiosity grew into a lifelong calling, leading me to Naropa, men’s work, and meditation. This path of introspection continues to shape my understanding of the unique struggles people face in today’s world.
Men’s Work
It’s no secret that men, especially young men, face complex pressures in modern American society. Issues of meaning, addiction, identity confusion, and disconnection are increasingly common. As a therapist specializing in men’s therapy in Denver, I help men reconnect with themselves in ways that build inner resources, clarity, and vitality.
Together, we explore the weight of cultural expectations, family dynamics, and personal struggles that can leave men feeling isolated or stuck. In our work, I create a space where men can examine both their strengths and their wounds, finding pathways toward resilience, purpose, and more authentic connection.
My Style
I specialize in somatic, mindfulness-based, and humanistic approaches that root the work in connection, present-moment awareness, and authenticity. I support adults navigating PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, stress management, and life transitions. I’m especially drawn to clients who are ready—or at least curious—about showing up for themselves, even when it feels challenging.
Together, we explore how experiences live in the body, strengthen the ability to remain present, and create new ways of relating to self and others. My work is also shaped by existential and Buddhist perspectives, bringing depth that honors both the struggles and possibilities of being human. Clients often experience me as warm, grounded, and direct, with a focus on fostering both insight and lasting change.
Why Me?
Clients often describe my style as warm, fluid, relatable, and insightful. My specialization in somatic therapy supports change not only in a person’s story but also in their emotional and physical body. My approach is relational and embodied, leaving room for honesty, creativity, and grounded presence.
I bring particular experience in working with men who are navigating the pressures of identity, intimacy, and belonging. Many men carry unspoken burdens—grief, shame, anger, or isolation—that often show up in their relationships and sense of self. In our work, I help men access their deeper emotions, reconnect with their bodies, and learn to trust their own capacity for growth.
Let’s connect
Through a balance of somatic awareness, compassionate dialogue, and honest reflection, I create a space where men can begin to dismantle old patterns and cultivate new ways of relating. This work strengthens both vulnerability and resilience, helping men show up fully. My goal is not only to support individual healing but also to help men build the skills and confidence to be present and connected in their partnerships, friendships, and communities.
