A Message from Angelyn

I believe everyone possesses the innate capacity for growth and healing. You are not broken and do not need fixing. As your therapist in Wheat Ridge, CO, I will walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strength and resilience.

Therapy is more than problem-solving; it’s a space to explore your full experience—acknowledging what’s working, what’s challenging, and what possibilities lie ahead. Together, we’ll uncover your inner resources and build a life that feels authentic and whole.

My approach is motivational and strengths-based. I believe that with curiosity and compassion, transformation becomes possible. Through honest and gentle reflection, I support clients in fostering a stronger relationship with themselves and others.

Who I Work With

I provide therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and major life transitions. These experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone.

I work particularly well with individuals who feel they’re figuring life out for the first time—adjusting to new phases, roles, or relationships, or questioning previously held beliefs. Whatever you’re experiencing, I’m here to provide support and help you find your footing.

As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I create a safe, inclusive space for individuals from all backgrounds. Your story and identity are honored here, and I believe therapy should reflect and respect who you truly are.

What to Expect in Therapy

Clients often describe me as both supportive and direct. I show up fully, with care and presence, and gently encourage you to explore areas outside your comfort zone.

In our sessions, you can expect honesty, compassion, and a focus on what feels most relevant to you. Our time may involve discussing grief, sharing moments of laughter, or sitting with silence to acknowledge what’s true. Every aspect of your experience is welcome and valued.

My goal is to help you work with your mind, not against it. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build awareness, and take steps toward meaningful change.

About Angelyn

Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, the natural landscape continues to influence my worldview. Living in various states has also deepened my appreciation for diverse communities and identities.

Before becoming a therapist, I explored several career paths, each teaching me valuable lessons. These experiences reinforced my understanding that life is rarely linear—and neither is healing.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. While formal education is important, I also value the insights gained through presence, relationships, and real-life challenges. I bring both clinical knowledge and lived experience into the therapy room.

My hope is to offer a space that feels safe enough for you to be authentic—a place where you can reflect, process, and reconnect with parts of yourself that long to be seen.
